IMA GREENVILLE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
2008-2009 AWARDS
Purpose:
The purpose of these awards is to provide students an incentive to pursue certification as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) through the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and to become active members of the Greater Greenville chapter (0122, the “chapter”).

Overview of the Scholarship Program:
Students selected to receive these awards will be reimbursed for the cost of student membership in the IMA, the credentialing fee, cost of study materials, and the cost of taking the four exams. Specifically, the Greenville IMA Chapter will reimburse the winning candidates for:
- the cost of Student Membership fees up to four consecutive years or until the student finishes their undergraduate and/or graduate degree program, whichever comes first.
- the cost of the one-time credentialing fee which must be paid before the first exam can be taken but does not have to be paid to be a member. This fee is non-refundable.
- the cost of the Gleim study program materials including study book and CD-ROM for each of the four exams. The student must be a member of the chapter and order these materials directly from Gleim to get reimbursed. The chapter will reimburse for study materials one unit at a time. The student must order one study unit, pass the exam, then may order the next study unit. Proof of payment is required for reimbursement.

- Student must pass all 4 exams prior to their Student Membership eligibility expiring. The chapter will not cover any costs of Membership, Study Materials, or Examination fees for anyone who is no longer eligible to be an IMA Student Member.
